During one of the mock rehearsals for Sony's game show 10 Ka Dum, host Salman Khan invited his very close director friend David Dhawan to test his skills and play the game. The game was set, Salman in his style started the game introducing David… the director (David) took on the role as a participant very seriously and in sometime was engrossed in the game…
Apparently David spend enough time thinking before giving any answer...but surprisingly he always came up with the right answer and moved on to the next question successfully. An inquisitive Sallu then asked David "Boss how come you take so much time before answering but come up with the right one?" David laughed and said "Your game is about common people nah, so I'm taking time to put myself in their situation and think of how they would react. Right now I'm not David Dhawan, I'm the common man" David played the game till the last leg and won about a crore… and was just a few per cent away in his final answer for the big booty of Rs. 10 crores!
